How to Use the BUF Writing Center
The Writing Center has three easy ways for you to connect with us:
– You can Make an Appointment for a specific time. This can be either for an in-person or an online coaching session.
– You can join us for an online Chat Session where we can answer quick questions.
– You can Drop-in to the Writing Center, located in the Kinchen Center, and a coach can help you at his/her earliest availability.

Tuesday: 3:00pm-5:00pm
Thursday: 3:00pm-5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am-11:30am

Make AppointmentWith what can the writing center help me?
The purpose of the writing center is to help students become academic writers. Students may come in at any point of the writing process for guidance. Students may come in for issues such as choosing an appropriate topic for a research paper or adjusting the scope of a thesis, as well as, more complicated tasks such as structuring logical argument or synthesizing information for research integration. The Writing Center also maintains copies of the texts used in composition and other courses that may be used on-site.
